2008

We opened our doors to the public on February the 1st 2008.We have transformed the land next to the Acton Bridge railway station , through our parent company the Gentleman Gardeners. As of now we have completed approximately 30% of the work, we’ve taken out all the dead shrubs and plants and we’ve put in a new drainage system.

We’ve put a few tonnes of stone down and have created a paved area for you to browse through many quality plants.

2009

In 2009 we`ve been very busy expanding acton bridge nursery which you can see below , We have now completed about 60% of the site. We still have along away to go before it will be totally transformed from a peice of waste land.

EXTRA GROWING ROOM

At the beginning of this year we`ve made alot more changes to the nursery, that you can see , We have recently added a new, and rather large polytunnel which has doubled our growing area, providing you with lots more quality, home grown plants. Why not come along and have a look at our vast array of summer bedding, hanging baskets, patio and container plants.

FISH POND

Our existing customers will already have been aware that a fish pond has been a work in progress. We are pleased to announce that it is now complete and can be admired whilst sitting and enjoying a drink in our new refreshments area.

REFRESHMENTS AREA

Our newest construction is an all weather refreshments area, with seating, situated near the fish pond so that you can relax with a coffee whilst you decide which of our extensive range of plants and shrubs would compliment your garden best!
